INCREASING HOUSING

Lower Gibson’s housing will be increased by adding twenty-plus residential units, designed as a collection of seven smaller 3 – 4 storey buildings, resembling houses, arranged around a central landscaped courtyard. Proposed are four 3-storey “buildings” and three 4-storey “buildings” on parking. The majority of homes are walk-up (level entry) apartment style suites, varying from one-bedroom & flex-room to two-bedrooms & flex-room. There are also 2 proposed townhomes positioned behind Stonehurst.

One of the townhomes is a two-bedroom residence, and the other is a one-bedroom & flex-room.

All homes have a private outdoor deck, or patio. Most residences will have an attractive view towards Shoal Channel, Keats Island and Gibsons Harbour.

The Stonehurst Residences will increase Lower Gibsons variety of available forms of housing, and contribute to the vitality and culture of Lower Gibsons village.
